MyFaceID is a free media search service based on biometric facial recognition technology. Technology was developed and is constantly being improved by team at Betaface.
You can register an try to search our faces and images database, upload your own images and use them in search, however please keep in mind that our service is in Beta stage, you may experience delays and encounter bugs.
Search is performed separately in persons database, which includes 'visible' MyFaceID users and famous people, and in internet images. At the moment we are indexing images from Flickr and few media sites.

April 2008: 779825 images processed, MyFaceID database contains 583332 faces and 24352 known persons.
May 2008: 1100502 images processed, our database contains 818475 faces and 28401 persons.
June 2008: 1466811 images processed, our database contains 1099856 faces and 30695 persons.

About MyFaceID
MyFaceID service came after few years of research and facial recognition technology development. We believe in great possibilities and future of this technology and that properly adopted, it may be a useful service for users all over the internet.
We detect people on photos and find a match in our database for time being, but we plan to expand our face recognition services further. Our mission is to perform face search in photos and video files over the internet.
Our technology was used in first ever automatic caricature creation Simpsonizeme and in promotion of Microsoft Windows Server, where 'composite' faces were automatically created.
